General Policy

• All casitas are equipped with fans and mosquito nets, bathroom towels and beach towels.
• Wireless internet is available if you would like to bring your own laptop
  
• All prices are for double occupancy in our Casitas.
• The rooms should be vacated by 12.00pm. Please enquire a day in advance if you need a later check out.
• Taxes are not included
• The casitas are for 2 people; a charge of 350.00 pesos will apply for each extra person
• We do not allow pets of any type in the hotel

Children Policy

Children are welcome but please be aware in advance that our hotel is not designed with very young children in mind. The split level rooms would not be appropriate for young children and could be dangerous as they have open ladders/stairs leading to open loft areas from which a young child could fall if not attended at all times. We do not have family rooms but we can provide cots for some of the ground level rooms. There are no dedicated play areas but the beach is very safe. Babysitting services are available on request. If you have a young child please contact us in advance and we will try to accommodate you.

Hotel Information& Policy

Please note that you are staying in a beautiful natural habitat with a delicately balanced eco-system which needs our help to preserve it.

• We request that our guests use the waste bins provided to dispose of all toilet paper and feminine hygiene products; they must not be put in to the toilets. The waste bins are emptied daily.
• Please don’t leave any type of food inside your Cabaña as this will attract insects and small animals.
• Our electricity comes from solar panels and a generator. Light is available from 6pm to 7am and from 8.30 am till 4.00pm.
• Please help us to save water by taking shorter showers and reusing your towels wherever possible. Our water is precious as it has to be delivered from a place 4 hours away.
• Laundry: please give your laundry to the hotel staff who will have it washed and dried at a small extra charge.
• If you want coffee or tea you can ask for hot water at the breakfast room. Bottled water, soft drinks, wine & champagne are also available at extra cost. Please ask any member of staff. All payments for beverages should be made in cash.
• Your complimentary breakfast is served between 8:30am till 9.30am. After this time the breakfast area is closed
• If for any reason you may need a doctor, please advise our staff. We have a very good doctor 30 minutes from the hotel.
• Our beach is very safe and secure; you can walk during the day or at night time without any problems. You will need a torch for walking at night because it is very dark. The beach is cleaned daily and any litter/rubbish should be disposed of in the bins at the hotel.
• Security inside the casita. We want you to feel at home; Shambala petit hotel’s staff are very friendly and honest. If you have valuables please bring them to our safety box, located in the main office. The hotel cannot be responsible for any valuables and money left inside the Casitas
