The Winter Mexico Caribbean Vacation
Starting by escaping the crowdies places, drive down the Riviera Maya until Tulum, a little town with a hotel zone of small eco resorts atmosphere in the most beautiful beaches of the Riviera Maya. Get to enjoy the wonders of Sian Kaan Biosphere and appreciate it´s high biodiversity on a boat trip to Ascension Bay. Share the wildlife of the Monkey Reserve like its lagoon and cenotes (natural well giving access to the underground freshwater) all within the Mayan community in charge of the park conservation. Experience one of the largest ancient Mayan centers of the Yucatan Peninsula while biking and climbing pyramids. DAY 1. Cancun – Tulum Pick up at the International Cancun Airport and transfer to your hotel in Tulum. Enjoy the first hours | |

DAY 2. Tulum – Sian Kaan – Tulum - A coastal dirt route crossing Sian Kaan Biosphere will guide us to the hidden Lobster fisherman village of Punta Allen. We will explore Ascension bay on a boat trip with our local captain, where we will snorkel to the world´s second largest coral reef, go birding on Mangrove Islands at the best moment to watch migratory birds (mid Nov. to March), watch sea turtles, dolphins, starfishes… Before our lunch break we will enjoy a refreshing swim in a natural pool shaped by a sand bar. | |

| DAY 3. Tulum– Coba & Punta Laguna – Tulum A day to discover the Maya land, we will start with a unique experience in the Mayan community of Punta Laguna. Today the natural park, Punta Laguna and its wonderful lagoons have become a sanctuary for spider monkeys and howler monkeys. After a Mayan ceremony with the local shaman, a few activities will be offered like canoeing, rappeling in a cenote (natural well to the underground river), zip-lining above the lagoon… A lunch break will be set in front of Coba Lake where you can watch egrets and crocodiles. We will start the visit of the famous ruins of Coba by renting a bike to enjoy the most of this major religious and political ancient Mayan center. 50.000 Mayans were living in this vast city where the numerous buildings are more likely to be visited while biking. | |

| DAY 4. Tulum – Muyil - Sian Kaan – Bacalar Free time in the morning. In the afternoon, we will go to visit the Muyil Mayan ruins and you will learn all about the anticient commercial route of the Yucatan Peninsula. An eco-path crossing the coastal jungle will guide us to highest view point of the Sian Ka´an Biosphere. Then we will take a boat trip through the lagoons and the pristine water of the ancient Mayans canals that cross the wetlands. In those canals you will be carried by the natural current in an unforgettable floating experience. In the late afternoon you will reach your hotel in Bacalar were we will present some optional activities for you next day morning. | |

| DAY 5. Bacalar - Kohunlich - Bacalar A free time in the morning (optional; visit of the Spanish fortress, swim in the lake, kayak tour, enjoy the swimming pool,...). A delicious homemade buffet will be set at the Bacalar lagoon. This lagoon is a natural wonder of the Yuccatan, it´s also call “The Lagoon of the seven blue shades”. This lagoon is the second biggest fresh water storage of Mexico and unique for its colors and magic atmosphere surrounding the place. We will go to the Mayan city of Kohunlich surrounded by the Petén Jungle with is high biodiversity. Famous for its stuccos masks of the pre classic period that are exceptionally well conserved. | DAY 6. Bacalar – Lagoon Adventure – Tulum In the morning you will experience a unique adventure in the Costa Maya. Recently, a large zip-line along the lagoon has just been opened to the public. Various activities will follow your aerial adventure. Let yourself be guided and enjoy this moment that will be one of your best memories. We will get back on route to Tulum in the late afternoon. | |

In Tulum we did select Shambala Petit Hotel and for Bacalar, Villas Bacalar. On top of the excellent infrastructure and feedback, both places will make you feel at home in paradise with their specific atention giving by their friendly staff or the owner himself .Because those hotel are small and may be 100% booked, we may reseve your rooms in an equivalent hotel (Tulum; las ranitas, Nueva vida de Ramiro, Ocho Tulum,...).

Booking & Cancelation Policy
To fix your arrival date, pre-booking has to be made with a minimum payment of 50% of the full tour price.
To confirm your vacation with Mexico Kan Tours,a 50% deposit has to be made 60 days before the departure date. from the last 60 days before departure date the full price has to be send to mexico kan tours s.a de c.v.
General Policy
Mexico Kan Tours keeps the right to make any modification before and during the tour in case of exceptional event like natural calamities, health problems that require any emergencies, any weather or sociopolitical phenomenon that could have direct incidences for the good progress of the tour.
Note
Once your tour is book, your travel information, a list of suggestion and what to bring will be send it to you. For precaution measure, the traveler does have to bring a copy of them passport, visa and individual insurance.
