Formerly a modest fisherman village, the Isle of Holbox located in northern Yucatan is today a worldwide destination known for the high congregation of whale sharks migrating through between June and September. Mexico Kan tours brings you a close-encounter snorkeling trip with the ocean’s LARGEST fish, reaching up to 20 meters long! Even so, these amazing sea creatures are harmless and unthreatening to humans.
After this breath-taking encounter, we’ll take you for a swim in a cenote or for a snorkel trip to the reef (if the tour is leaving from Cancun instead of Holbox*). During this trip you are likely to see manta rays, dolphins, sea turtles and numerous sea birds.

Our Advice
Bring your bathing suit, sun glasses, a towel, eco-friendly sun screen & insects repellant, your camera and cash, as in this area you can not find ATM machines, nor do any of the vendors accept credit cards. The guides appreciate tips for great services.
