Day 3

Mexico City to Chihuahua

Meet at Mexico City airport arriving to Chihuahua.

Breakfast in Chihuahua and start our guide walking through the biggest colonial city of Mexico.

We will visit best history and cultural sites; the murals of the government palace, aqueduct and the cathedral. In the afternoon, we will visit the University Cultural Center Gameros before the House of

Pancho Villa today Museum of the Revolution.

 Discover Chihuahua

The state of Chihuahua, located to the north of the country, is the largest state in Mexico. It was inhabited by several indigenous groups; but it is now known for the Raramuris who live in the Sierra Tarahuamara.  Here you will find important industrial cities, two beautiful Magic Towns, and one of the most amazing mountain systems in Mexico: the Barrancas del Cobre (Copper Canyon).

 One of Mexico's very best kept secrets, far from the tourist track. Beneath the deep purple of the Sierra Madre Occidental, you'll find towns unchanged for centuries, traces of the Mexican Revolution, and a grand tradition of welcoming visitors.

Day 4

Chihuahua – Chepe – Creel

Early we start our adventure at Chepe train in direction to Creel, where we are going to have breakfast.

At Creel we will take a walk around. Creel ChurchSince town it isn't very large you can easily get to know it on foot. On main street we found crafts, traditional gabled houses with overhangs in front. In just a couple of minutes we got to the train station alongside the main plaza where you'll also find the town's neo-Gothic church. Just a couple steps away is the Museum of Tarahumara Culture, which is worth visiting to learn more about the Raramuri people.

Creel is in the heart of the Western Sierra Madre - is the springboard into two marvelous worlds: the magical universe of the Tarahumara and the breathtaking Copper Canyon.

Mother Nature has blessed the town with gigantic rock formations, romantic lakes, endless forests and spellbinding waterfalls. If you feel like delving into some local history, the Handicraft House and Museum, sheds some light on the customs and traditions of the Raramuri.

Day 5

Creel – Chepe – Divisadero

Breakfast at hotel and continue with a short walking before take the train to Divisadero.Divisadero Chepe

After extraordinary canyon views, we will be arriving to Divisadero. Stop at hotel an continue to the impressive views.

Go directly to the Divisadero Adventure Park. 

All activities are optional and you can ride them or not as you choose, paying direclty for whatever you choose to enjoy. The restaurant in the Park has glass walls and a section of glass floor where you can see a part of the Via Ferrata below on the canyon wall. You will have the chance to ride the new Cable Car into the canyon, which is the third-longest in the world. Over 2,740 meters long, it has two cabins from which you can get the best views in the region.

Divisadero Adventure Park

In Divisadero area we will explore the main overlooks of the Copper Canyon, many easy walking trails along the rim and look-out points like Piedra Volada, La Escalera, Tarahumara boarding-house, inhabited caves, etc.

Divisadero is one of the sierra's most famous tourist attractions as it’s where the Urique, El Cobre, and Tararecua canyons merge. From the overlooks there you'll get some of the most impressive views in the country. The Chepe train allows a 15-20 minute stop for visitors to enjoy the view. Divisadero and nearby Areponapuchi (located 4 km south) are major canyon-rim trailheads for hiking into the Rio Urique canyon. This high Hotel is strategically located on the canyon rim.

El Fuerte is one of the most beautiful colonial towns in Sinaloa’s northwestern region.

For centuries it was a major trading post for gold and silver miners. Some lovely colonial mansions line the cobblestone streets leading to a central Plaza de Armas, that comes alive in the evenings. The City Hall, built at the end of the 19th century, was designed in the neoclassic style like the Mirador Museum and Posada Hidalgo adorned with beautiful murals and graceful interior arches.

There is no better place to view such a spectacle than Los Cabos. The whales make their way south completing the 19,312-km (12,000-mile) migration by late December, staying until late March when they repeat their journey northward. Ideal climate, shallow waters, salinity and abundant marine life make the bays and lagoons north of Los Cabos the perfect place for whales to birth and rear their young. Of the 11 species of whales found worldwide, eight venture to the waters off Los Cabos, including minke, bryde, fin, sei, humpback, gray and blue.
